Our final Shakespeare Studio production of the season is coming up soon! Law & Order will include scenes and speeches about justice, government, power, right and wrong, from plays like The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, Julius Caesar, The Tempest, and more!

The first two Shakespeare Studios were Love & War (July 2019) and Music, Magic, & Murder (October 2019). See photos below from those shows.

InSite’s first full season is focused on Shakespeare as we build skills, interest, and momentum toward our first Shakespeare in the Park production, which we plan to make an annual event. It will be the first week of June in the Bull Durham building’s yard beside Brotherwell Brewery and Taproom in East Waco. We’ll be announcing the title soon but, trust us, it’s a good one!

The three Shakespeare Studio productions are generously funded by Creative Waco’s Arts Match Program (AMP) Grant.

Creative Waco is our local arts agency, which exists to grow and support a thriving cultural and creative community in Waco and McLennan County. And they are doing just that! Thank you so much, Creative Waco!

Both Love & War and Music, Magic, & Murder were performed at Brotherwell Brewery and Taproom in East Waco. Enjoy these photo galleries! Click a photo to enlarge and scroll through them.

We got to test-run an outside production with Music, Magic, & Murder in October 2019. The full moon over us fit with the creepy Halloween vibe we were going for, and we got to use our new portable lighting system!

Our first Shakespeare Studio production, Love & War, was a big success! In the heat of July (and an un-air-conditioned taproom!) we played to two full houses and got raves from the audience.
